Exercise and a healthy workout

Exercising enhances your skin’s appearance and also helps your entire body, mind and spirit feel better. As soon as you start to exercise, you will begin to notice that your skin doesn’t look as old and there aren’t as many wrinkles visible due to the release of natural endorphins.

Timely Rest

Adequate sleep is essential for skin care and repair. Your body needs to rest for your skin to look youthful.

This is the mainstay of any anti-aging skin care routine and is one of the best preventive measures against aging. The primary cause of premature aging is exposure to sun without adequate protection and care. So find a good sunscreen with an SPF of 30 suited to your skin type and use it on a regular basis.

Anti-aging and retinol based products

Consult your dermatologist to know which is the best anti-aging skin care product with retinol (form of Vitamin A) individually suited for your skin and start on a preventive anti-aging skin care routine as early as you can. Good skin care will go a long way in preventing aging. Also, modify this routine based on your age, skin type, occupation, environmental conditions, seasonal changes and hormonal changes. There are several non-invasive treatments available for anti-aging too.

Do consult an experienced dermatologist for advice as to what may work in addition to the above measures to keep your skin looking youthful.
